We break away from the traditional boutique model by delivering style to various Painted Tree locations in NC and VA. Our innovative founder, Marcia Mae, has reshaped the fashion landscape, fueled by her love for Juju, her adored 5-year-old French Bulldog, and her own middle name, Mae.

Marcia's life is a testament to achieving dreams against the odds. As a mother of two sons, she has juggled the demands of a full-time career in the corporate world, overcome the challenges of scoliosis surgery, adapted to life with 2 foot-long titanium rods and 20 screws in her back, and bravely transitioned into entrepreneurship and running. From her days in high school and college, where she wore boys' Levi's and smock tops to hide her back brace, Marcia has embarked on a significant style evolution, now fully embracing the fashion world with open arms. Her story is one of incredible resilience and success, extending far beyond her personal achievements. Marcia's deep commitment to helping others shines through in everything she does, from supporting scoliosis patients and caring for animals to investing her efforts in enhancing the lives of others.
